Hesper

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Hesper is a sleep coaching service for parents of babies aged 6 to 12 months. We work with you in a WhatsApp chat: you tell us when your baby wakes up and falls asleep, and we plan the day, remind you of the next nap and adjust the plan as we learn your baby's rhythm.

This policy explains what data we collect, why, who helps us process it, and what you can do about it.

Hesper is not a medical service and does not give medical advice. If you are worried about your baby's health, contact a doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Who we are

Hesper (hespersleep.com) is run by Anton Zialionka, who is the data controller for the data described here. Contact: hello@hespersleep.com.

Why we use it

Your plan is calculated by software from the times you log, and a human coach oversees it. These calculations do not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

These providers process data only on our instructions. Some of them are based in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you are in the program and for 12 months after your last message, so you can come back if sleep changes again. After that we delete it. If you ask us to delete it earlier, we do so within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, send it to you in a portable format, or stop processing it. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before. To do any of this, write "delete my data" (or your request) in the WhatsApp chat or email hello@hespersleep.com. How to delete your data: data deletion.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to your data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority in your country.

Children

Hesper is used by parents and legal guardians aged 18 or over. We collect information about a baby only from their parent or guardian, and only what the program needs.
